I have an Acer brand laptop, model aspire 5920 with a core 2 duo Intel Centrino duo processor. It came pre-loaded with Windows Vista which is amazing, i really like the new system. I love my new laptop, i bought it at Wal-mart in December 2008 and what i like most about it is its versatility.
I also own another pc, and it sits there on its own desk, hooked to a printer. The laptop i can take anywhere in the house and use online. It came with a built-in wi-fi for the internet. Works great because we have wireless internet so i can go online anywhere in the house with the laptop.
Tasks mainly are online emailing, poker sites, digital pictures, making movies with digital photos, adding music, its all a breeze with this laptop. It is my first and definitely won't be my last laptop. The only thing that needs to be improved is the speakers, its hard to hear out of them, but i added additional speakers and that helped out a lot.
