Acer Aspire AS7720
I have an Acer Laptop with 1.5GHz, 2GB, 250GB DL, DVDRW, WiFi, AS7720-6395. This laptop is so reasonably priced and works like a charm! It came with Window's Vista which was new to me but was easy to figure out. The computer itself was compatible with my printers and Zip drive; it made loading them a breeze! I love that it's not a heavy computer and has a nice, easy way to remove WiFi capabilities if you are in an area that doesn't allow it, like an airplane.
The battery life seems to last as opposed to my other laptops and it's nice to have a DVDRW. There are several USB ports which is nice to plug peripherals in without having them all located in one place. I use my laptop for almost everything including Photoshop.
I didn't like that the computer doesn’t come with a DVD program to just run your DVD’s. You can purchase one that they load but I think it's ridiculous to ask this of us. They have all the writable programs installed which did save some time. Overall I recommend this laptop for basic daily use. Anything requiring gaming, etc. might need a little bigger computer.
