Apple MacBook

My laptop is a Black, 13-inch Macbook. I love how fast the programs are and how I do not have to worry about viruses. I can tell that this laptop was made for the user to be worry free. I use it for schoolwork, looking up things on the internet, entertainment, and communication. The only thing I want to be improved is the businesses and online companies to be macbook accessible. For instance, I wanted to sign up for an online movie rental site, where I could download movies and watch them on my computer as well as order through regular mail. I was saddened to see that the downloader was not Mac compatible. I love love love my computer. It is fairly new, I bought it this past Christmas, and so far it has blown my old Toshiba out of the water!

Apple MacBook User Experience

"I use the white Apple MacBook, with a 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and 2GB RAM. This is my second apple laptop (first being a iBook G4), and I'm very happy with the performance of this computer. I'm currently running OS X 10.4. The laptop is lightweight, compact, and very stylish.

I use the computer in grad school for my research as well as at home for personal activities. I develop websites, program in Python, Java, C, C++, PHP and various other languages and have never had problems with using the MacBook to develop code. I also use it to write (MS Office), surf the web, and play games. While the screen is adequate to watch DVDs, I will hook it up to an external 23 inch monitor when I want to have a better theater experience. I also use the built-in webcam to video chat with my friends and family.

As with most of Apple's computers, the strength also partially lies in the OS and the smooth design many of the applications have. Everything looks polished, is easy to use, and generally behaves as I would want it. I can go weeks without having to reboot the computer, and I often take it everywhere with me. If you need to travel, you simply close the lid and it will automatically go into a sleep mode. Then when you get to your destination, open it up, and everything is quickly available.

The biggest drawback to the laptop has to be the formation of cracks along the edges of the casing where the screen touches the keyboard. I've also noticed that the drivers for the built-in wireless airport card seem to have difficulties."

I purchased an Apple MacBook in 2006, and for the most part have fully enjoyed it. The sleek design (mine's white) is what attracted me to it in the first place, and all the features and supreme user-friendliness are what convinced me to buy it. This is the only computer I use, and it suits all my needs, word processing, browsing the internet, listening and organizing my music, watching videos, editing photos, even taking photos of myself with the clever Photo Booth application.

I am not particularly computer savvy, so the fact that my MacBook not only is easy for me to use, but makes me feel knowledgeable about its function is a huge feat. The few problems I've had with it all deal with its physical construction. I've had pieces break off, or become loose. I have always used a case, so this damage is coming from normal wear and tear. I also wish the warranty covered more. Many things go uncovered, and repairs are extremely costly.

I have an Apple Macbook, which I bought almost exactly two years ago. I only buy Macs anymore, since they're more reliable and less likely to crash or get a virus or fall apart. I LOVE my Macbook! It's fast, it works intuitively (as does everything Apple makes), and it looks darn good, too. I use it all the time, as I am a professional writer and blogger, and I never have any problems. All of my friends with PCs always seem to have trouble with their hardware or with viruses, and I never do, so I've converted several people to the Macbook since I bought it. Honestly, I can't think of anything I'd improve on this computer. It really is the perfect laptop. It never overheats or crashes or even slows down. Part of that, of course, is the operating system, which is top notch. I just couldn't recommend Apple products more!
