Apple MacBook Pro
I have an Apple MacBook Pro with a 17" screen and it is great. I have had it for over two years and have not had any problems with it. I use it for a multitude of applications, including graphic design and photo editing, along with gaming. It runs all my graphic design and web design programs very smoothly (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc), and I can run many at the same time.
I really like the fact that you can "hide" applications, meaning that they are taken off the screen and you can pull it back up by simply clicking the icon on the tool bar. There are very few improvements, but I would prefer a larger hard drive. The next laptop I get will definitely be another MacBook Pro, but I may downsize to the 15". The larger screen is great, but it is difficult to find computer cases for it, as well as its larger to transport.

"I have a MacBook Pro which I purchased almost three years ago. I love it. It is one of the few items I have purchased in the last ten years that I love more now than I did the day I bought it. I use it for everything, for work as a designer and for entertainment. Tasks I use it for include graphic design work, e-mailing, internet research and watching DVDs.
There are a couple of places for room for improvement. 1) a better DVD player, if the DVD is slightly scratched it will not work 2) a cooler running system, it can heat up to temperatures that make it untouchable. 3) Longer Battery life."
