Asus EeePC 900 16G
As a student, I have to carry my laptop around a lot, so having a light laptop is very important to me. My ASUS EeePC 900 16G is almost perfect for me. It weighs only slightly more than 2 pounds, so I barely notice it in my backpack. I use it to take notes in my classes and read PDFs of my textbooks, as well as for general web surfing during breaks. The webcam is also great for chatting with my girlfriend via Skype. My only real complaint about it is that the WiFi range isn't very good.
