Compaq Armada M700
My laptop is a Compaq Armada M700. It's an old laptop but it has a new hard drive in it so it works alright. I like that it is durable and won't break easily like some of the newer model laptops. I use my laptop for anything you can imagine. I communicate with family via internet and messenger, store my pictures, videos, and music in my computer, and I use this computer for entertainment purposes.
It does not run slowly so I watch movies on my computer and play games also. The things I don't like about this model is that there is only one USB port so when I plug in my webcam or something like that I have to unplug the mouse and use the mouse thing that comes with the laptop (a little nub in the center of the keyboard). Laptops should have three USB ports. Also this laptop gets hot too easily so I can't keep it in my lap. The vents should be on the sides. Another thing I don't like is that this Compaq laptop is heavy. It get's kind of uncomfortable moving it around. Laptops should be durable yet light weight. Another downside is that there is not an external volume control button, so when videos start to play real loud (unexpectedly) I have to use the mouse to open up the volume control, which can take a minute or so. Easy access controls are a must.
