The MacBook Air is one of the newest Apple laptops that was originally released in early 2008 and has been upgraded as late as June 2009. It features Apple's new aluminum unibody design that has similarly been extended to the MacBook and MacBook Pro models. The name MacBook Air is very suitable, since this weighs in at around only 3 pounds and it is so unbelievably thin. I'm careful with all computers I handle in general and so I don't intend to test out the durability, but it does seem quite sturdy.

It is built from one solid piece of aluminum as opposed to other laptops that are built using multiple pieces. It also features LED lighting which lights up your screen twice as fast as the competitor products that are on the market.

In addition to a 40% increase in battery size (which in my personal experience can hold a charge for at least 4 - 5 hours watching a DVD in full screen with full-on brightness), the beautifully re-designed machine offers great value inside, too.
