In this day and age, you would have to agree that a laptop is almost an essential must have. Without them we would be stuck at home doing those oh so important activities that just can’t wait. But since there are so many out there, you want to stick out from the crowd. You don’t want to sport the ever-popular black or gray laptop. Well I have good news for you. You don’t have to do that anymore.

Colored laptop computers are becoming very popular nowadays. No need for the traditional black laptop. And it’s not enough just to have a colored laptop sleeve. If you want to catch the eye of other laptop users, you need to have a colored laptop. Manufacturers are coming up with new ideas all of the time to catch the eye of the faithful laptop user. One of the most popular manufacturers of colored laptops today is Dell. You’ve probably seen their commercials on TV. The colors they have available are very bright and vibrant. I must admit that it caught my eye. The Inspiron 1525 series is really appealing. I really liked that it has bluetooth and no laptop is complete without wireless connection! The high definition that they added was another major plus. It is well worth the money and I am highly considering buying one soon.

The colored laptop that I have is the red/rose colored Sony VAIO VGN-CR520E. I got this as a present and I don’t have any complaints. It has a sharp color to it. The wireless connection is great. The clarity when watching videos online is crystal clear. Battery life is about 4 hours, which is so much better than one of the older laptops I previously owned. It’s also very lightweight. It’s no more than 5 pounds. No more bulky laptops for me!

Another upcoming colored laptop is the Acer Aspire. While this is technically a netbook, I have seen these fascinating creatures at my favorite coffee shops and even at my bus stop. One of my colleagues purchased a blue one recently for her 13-year-old daughter. Even though this is a small laptop, it came fully equipped with Windows XP Home Edition, 160GB hard drive, built in webcam, and more. I could not believe all the power this tiny piece of technology held. These are also very inexpensive. While I need a slightly larger laptop to work with, I would not completely dismiss the Acer.
