Meet with him and say that when you purchase your machine you will pay him to check it out and update it with the latest firewall on the market. You don't want to pay more than $50 for these services. Then have him suggest the right machine to meet the needs on your list. Then purchase the rebuilt machine from a reputable vendor online. The technician may also be able to sell you a good machine. If you are buying a new machine, you can simply take your list to any retailer and a sales associate will help you find the right machine.
