This strategy is one that allows both Acer and the consumer to win. Acer’s maintains its low price point by providing functionality without the gimmicks.

The Aspire One AOD150 has a 10 inch screen which puts it on par with the likes of the HP Mini and Lenovo S10. With a much sweeter starting price around $349; this is about $100 less than its closet competitor. Acer remains at the top of its game; providing quality at a lower cost than its competition.

I purchased the Aspire One AOD150 Netbook; because it has an Intel Atom with 1GB RAM. The XP setup is durable and reliable. The large keyboard is a great asset as well; for essays or short letters. The AOD 150 keyboard is roomy and allows you to type with comfort and speed. Acer’s 6 cell battery provides 6 hours of computing power. The extended battery power gives you more time to work; which translates to better productivity with fewer errors. The balance of power and comfort is what convinced me to purchase the AOD150.

Acer’s Aspire One AOD150 is available in a variety of colors: such as white, blue, red, and black. With a glossy finish the 150 is sure to get compliments from friends and on-lookers alike. The 10 inch screen further adds a sense of flair.

The first Acer Aspire One had a smaller 9 inches screen display. A 1 inch increase doesn’t seem like a lot; but the difference is noticeable with in the two models. The 10 inch LCD screen offers a 1024x600pixel resolution. The 10 inch screen is great for reading documents and web pages of your favorite websites. Radiant and clear, the bigger display was a contributing factor in my decision to purchase the AOD150.
