It also has an Intel Core 2 Extreme Quad-Core Mobile Processor. With a combined eight gigabytes of ram, coupled with a 500-gigabyte hard drive, you will have enough speed and space to play any game with ease. In addition, the monitor is seventeen inches and capable of displaying 1900x1200 high-definition, screen resolutions. Although these specs are impressive by any standards, this computer is even more impressive when you put it to the test.

After having played several games with the highest minimum requirements on the Dell Alienware M17x (Gaming) laptop, I can state unequivocally that this is by far the best gaming machine I have ever used. This machine will run any game on the highest settings with no lag or decrease in graphics quality. The graphics are stunningly lifelike, textures are rendered beautifully, and the audio is crisp. Even games that I had trouble running on a relatively high-end desktop, performed wonderfully on the Dell M17x. The huge, crystal-clear seventeen-inch screen makes watching movies and videos a pleasure. The Beyond HD resolution settings and optional blu-ray drive create a consummate viewing experience.

The Dell Alienware M17x (gaming) is expensive. Depending on how many of the optional features you choose to add, a new system will cost between $3500-$4500 dollars. However, I have seen sellers on E-Bay offering this system for a more reasonable price. This laptop is worth the investment because it will probably be the last laptop you buy for a long time.
