Lenovo IdeaPad Y650

The Lenovo IdeaPad Y650-8343UT laptop with a 16 inch screen is a very nice laptop. I purchased this laptop for myself last week and I am very pleased with it.

I have some pros about the laptop:

1. The laptop is very thin which is a lot nicer than some other laptops I have owned that have been almost 2 inches thick and looked very bulky, this one does not
2. The weight of this laptop is under five pounds, so it is much lighter than quite a few other models.
3. The screen is much brighter than any other laptops I have seen in the past.
4. I probably shouldn't but I have a habit of running multiple applications while I am on the laptop but this laptop has been able to support what I am doing.
5. The speaker system and sound is great. The theater sound is wonderful.
6. The outside of the laptop is sleek and black. The rubber shell helps with carrying.

The Cons about this laptop:

1. The white keyboard I do not like it tends to get dirty very quickly even when you think your hands are clean.
2. The DVD drive door is in the front and all the other laptops I have ever owned it has been on the side which I prefer.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Y630-7343UW with a 15.4 inch screen is a very nice laptop as well. My husband purchased this laptop while on a business trip and fell in love with it.

The Pros about this laptop:

1. The speakers are great and have awesome sound output.
2. The screen is bright and very visible.
3. The battery did last for about 3 hours which was a great life for what he needs to do.

The only Cons to this laptop:

1. The rpm of 5400 on the hard drive is a little slower than what he would like.
2. The laptop not having a built in bluetooth is a downer for my husband also. his last laptop had a built in bluetooth and made it nice.

Over all - either of the Lenovo IdeaPad Y630 laptops are a great purchase. I am sure you can find them listed on eBay for a great price like we did.
